How do i get a black ball point pen stain on my clothes out?
Can you answer jjamiface's question about pens?:
a black ball point pen went in the washer with my clothes. ink got on my hoodie and a shirt of mine. i did not dry it in the dryer yet. what can i use to get it out? any help appreciated.

Things You’ll Need:
Paper towels
Clean cloth
Hair Spray
Terry Cloth Washcloths
Sponges
Rubbing Alcohol
Nail Polish Remover
Laundry Pretreatment
Liquid Bleach
Step1
Sponge the stain with water to remove as much ink as possible.
Step2
Allow the spot to dry.
Step3
Set the affected area face down on a clean cloth or paper towels.
Step4
Spray the back side of the stain with hairspray, or apply rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover.
Step5
Blot the back side with a clean terry cloth washcloth to further remove as much ink as possible.
Step6
Apply laundry pretreatment.
Step7
Wash in warm water.
Step8
Air dry.

Tips :
If you're left with only traces of a stain, consider using bleach to get it out.
Hairspray and shout
Bleach is not the answer as it will most likely turn the ink purpleish. Depending where you live see if you can find a product called "DIDI 7" it works the best or give the laundry additive "AMAZE" a try.
